Directions to Meeting Point:
Follow directions on Google maps to the National Trust - Sugarloaf and Usk Valley, Abergavenny. From the A40 Brecon rd, take a sharp right onto Pentre rd. Then take a left & left again, until you see 'Sugarloaf Vineyards' on the right- hand side corner. Drive up the steep hill, over the cattle grid and around the horseshoe bend to your left. Follow it up to the right, (don’t take the private lane on your left), and keep driving up until you see a grassy, bumpy unofficial car park on your right.

If you’re making your own way to basecamp…
The walk is flat all the way and suitable for pushchairs.
From the car park, walk along the path to your right all the way along until you reach a crossroads.
Walk straight on, through the Bracken until the woodland is in front of you and you see a narrow path to your right.
Turn right and walk along to a big Oak tree on your right. Our camp is under the Oak tree.
